UPDATE President Trump NOT to Impose 10% Tariff on Some EU Countries, UK, and Norway Starting Feb. 1

The below was taken in part from the NCBFAA:

In a Truth Social post this afternoon, January 21st, President Trump said he will not impose 10% tariffs on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, and Finland on February 1st, as announced late last week.

The president initially sought to impose the tariffs over Greenland.

“Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Rutte, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and, in fact, the entire Arctic Region. This solution, if consummated, will be a great one for the United States of America, and all NATO Nations,” the president said.
