Fuel Updates
Fuel is at $3.739 for the week, which is up from $3.727 the previous week.
Spot market activity slowed last week as businesses took time off for the Fourth of July holiday. There was some urgency behind the loads that did move, leading to a slight uptick in national average rates.
Cargo theft is up over 25% year over year, and it is expected to increase even more before the end of the year. Visibility to freight is important.
