Notice of Reinstatement of Certain Exclusions: China’s Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation

On Saturday, May 31st, the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) announced the extension of exclusions in the Section 301 Investigation of China’s Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, and Innovation. The exclusions that were previously scheduled to expire on May 31st have now been extended to August 31st, 2025.

Exclusions include:

  • 164 exclusions previously extended on May 30th, 2024
  • 14 exclusions covering certain solar manufacturing equipment that were announced on September 18th, 2024, in connection with the 4-year review
